Carlos Chavez and Alex Knull, both well known fly fishing guides, pulled a tire from the Henry's Fork on a recent afternoon drift. Chavez, who first publicly called attention to the cans and other litter in the Island Park section of the Snake, is thrilled about the upcoming river clean-up. "We as fishermen always make a point to take out any litter we see on the river, but a community clean-up makes a much bigger and bolder statement as to the importance of the Henry's Fork in our lives."
The guides pulled the tire from the Lunch Counter section of Box Canyon.
